Something greater than myself
I struggle to comprehend
Is it fate binding me to these turns
Or destiny pulling me toward itself
Feelings i can't explain
Emotions unrational
Sensing something shifting
A change in my foundations

Is it madness
Seeping into my head
Scrambling my soul
Steering me in this path

Or is it something more
Not yet known to me
Something to come
That makes me train
When there is no reason
And pulls at my mind
To study strange things

a flittering in my very core
that leaves me dumbfounded
or is it just in my head
but more important
CAN I ESCAPE it?
